It's been about 3 or 4 months since the duo were up here rockin' out, last time they were here they were promoting their 'Turbo Love' release.

Where have they been?

Apart from being on tour in the states Chris Stracey and Jack Glass AKA Bag Raiders have been working on a full length album to release to the public later this year. With some apparent unexpected collaborations with other musicians.

In The Mix...

So its that time of year again where all the dj's ask for your support to vote for them in the Annual Sony In The Mix dj competition. Every year spam gets sent via facebook, myspace, twitter and many other social-networking websites to prove who is the best dj. Vote for the DJ that you like the most and they just might win, you could also win a sony package worth over $5000.
Click Here to Vote Don't forget to also vote for the other categories on the site.

Last years winner TyDi is a Brisbane boy that was well deserved for the #1 position. So before his reign at number 1 position might come to an end, i thought you guys should probably check out some tracks off his album 'Look Closer'. It is such a good album and i worth the $30 you might spend on it. I'm not going to give you a link to D/L, because it is not supporting the artist.

NO MORE KING OF POP...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Pop icon Michael Jackson died today at around 7:30 a.m. [EST] after being taken to a Los Angeles hospital in cardiac arrest. At age 50 the superstar's life has been surrounded by controversy.

Jackson’s death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music’s premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album “Thriller” — which included the blockbuster hits “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” — is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

The public first knew him in the late 1960s, when as a boy he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the music group he formed with his four older brothers. Among their No. 1 hits were “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.”

MASSIVE!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Native Instruments - Massive, An entirely new instrument featuring three ‘wave-scanning’ oscillators, multi-mode filters, flexible routing, drag-and-drop modulation, an envelope step sequencer and a set of eight macro controls, Massive has caused something of a stir on the NI forums.

I have personally been using massive for about 6 to 9 months now, and never have i found a synth as good as it. I recommend using Massive for any music production, as it is very versatile and can make many of sounds. Although i don't know this synth inside out, it is not hard to get an electro sounding bass through this monster. I also think the effects in massive are not bad, instead of opening a new software to run effects through...

I'm defs not uploading the Native Instruments pack though! haha check it on www.piratebay.org
