It's been about 3 or 4 months since the duo were up here rockin' out, last time they were here they were promoting their 'Turbo Love' release.

Apart from being on tour in the states Chris Stracey and Jack Glass AKA Bag Raiders have been working on a full length album to release to the public later this year. With some apparent unexpected collaborations with other musicians.

LITTLE BOOTS @ PARKLIFE

Victoria Hesketh AKA Little Boots, is a British electronica musician that sings, plays synthesizers, Japanese electronic instrument the Tenori-on and the stylophone. This year Hesketh is set to make a bang at the annual Parklife Festival held at all big cities around Australia.


She is out promoting her album that was released on June 8th 2009. 'HANDS' is her debut album and was released on the label sixsevennine.

MASSIVE!

Native Instruments - Massive, An entirely new instrument featuring three ‘wave-scanning’ oscillators, multi-mode filters, flexible routing, drag-and-drop modulation, an envelope step sequencer and a set of eight macro controls, Massive has caused something of a stir on the NI forums.


I have personally been using massive for about 6 to 9 months now, and never have i found a synth as good as it. I recommend using Massive for any music production, as it is very versatile and can make many of sounds. Although i don't know this synth inside out, it is not hard to get an electro sounding bass through this monster. I also think the effects in massive are not bad, instead of opening a new software to run effects through...

So this program i have downloaded through other programs blah blah... After researching about it, i found it was made or somehow in cooperation with Mixed In Key so thought it must be reliable. But not 100% sure about it though, Apparently it enhances or decreases the volume of an audio file to the best average volume, which is -13 Decibels. This means having a low quality song is no longer a problem because platinum notes adjusts it to the correct pitch as well as fixing all clipped peaks... i have been using the program to the majority of all my downloaded audio files. definitely check the demo's out on the page. www.platinumnotes.com

Jay Z was never one of my favourite artists, but listening to his old stuff has got me into his stuff a lot. So i thought i might share some goodies... Later this year Jay Z is planning on releasing his third compilation of Blueprint. It has been leaked that Kanye West is set to produce the majority of the tracks coming out on the record, but has already been warned on his Auto Tune over usage. Also it has been leaked that some extra verse's on some already finished tracks are set to pop up on the album. Although it would be nearly impossible to find any leaked material off the album, i've posted something just as tasty.

If you have friday the 26th of June off from work or anything else, make sure you head to the valley to check these guys out. The Duo formed in late 2006 when an indie producer met a well known DJ within the Italian boarders. They released an album together that was a huge experiment, filled with art, music, video's and fashion [Cornelius]. One track off the album was included in the FIFA 09 soundtrack.
